We developed a Mobile CSS Stylesheet for an upcoming coupon and deals website, InitialCoupons.com.

The aim of this stylesheet is to enable the user to have the same experience as they would on a desktop machine. A mobile stylesheet uses media queries to determine the minimum and maximum width of the display. It will use additional CSS capsulated in the media query to style the website for displaying differently on a mobile device.

Initial Coupons is marked up with the 960 grid system. We started by converting the CSS into a grid layout that would work better on a mobile device. That would pretty fun and we’ll probably use it again for other projects.

We look forward to expanding the mobile website when Initial Coupons released their social network!
