Ideal for Graphic Designers
This service is aimed at the freelance graphic designer, who is often asked to design a website. You’d love to say yes, but the development side of web design, you struggle at.
We bring your beautiful Photoshop designs to life! We code them so they are pixel perfect. The HTML web site you receive, will be a 100% reflection of your initial design.
Our service is unbranded! You retain the rights to the web design and we will not contact your client. Our mission is to align ourselves with talented designers, to create value for both parties and build great business relationships.
What do I get?
The end product is a collection of files. An HTML index file, sliced up images and accompanying CSS files.
Depending on your Photoshop design, your HTML will often include a header, sidebar, content and footer section. The HTML will be quick and easy for you to edit. The CSS does all of the styling, so the HTML remains clean and concise. Perfect for inserting your client’s content and packaging it up into a larger website.
How do I get started?
Our preferred way of working with graphic designers is to use the 960 grid system. When you design the website in Photoshop you’ll work from a PSD, which includes a grid layer. It helps streamline development by providing commonly used dimensions. We’ll also code using the 960 grid system, we’ll then be singing from the same hymn sheet, which will speed up development.
