InPlay.finance is a real-time stock discovery platform built to help traders identify momentum before it becomes mainstream. It tracks price action, volume, and volatility across thousands of tickers every trading day, highlighting which stocks are in play right now — and why.

At the heart of the platform is a scoring engine that blends Gap, RVOL, and VWAP alignment with proprietary In-Play and Alpha signals. This data-driven approach turns chaotic intraday markets into clear, ranked opportunities that traders can act on instantly.

InPlay.finance is more than a screener — it’s a live ecosystem of watchlists, alerts, and analytical tools that evolve as the session unfolds. Every signal, chart, and metric is designed to give traders what they need most: clarity in the chaos.

Currently, the platform is operating in a closed invite-only beta, giving early members access to new features such as VWAP cross alerts, Alpha scoring insights, and an evolving Autopilot engine for trade automation. This stage allows for tight feedback loops, real-world validation, and rapid iteration before wider public access.

Built entirely in-house by 1 JUMP 2, InPlay.finance represents the next step in how retail traders access institutional-grade data — fast, transparent, and focused.

If you’d like an early look at the platform or wish to request an invite, visit InPlay.finance and join the waitlist.

I solved an issue with iMessage not activating – just kept saying “verifying” then failed to connect to server.

This is with an iPhone without a SIM card.

Forget all WiFi networks. Set up Personal Hotspot on another phone which uses the same mobile network as the problem iPhone is locked to i.e. o2.

Then forget all WiFi networks on that phone too.

Connect the ‘problem iPhone’ to the other iPhone’s hotspot and the verification will work.

This seems to trick iMessage in verifying without a SIM card.

The problem may have occurred because I use Three as my broadband provider. So verification over WiFi was not working.

By viewing failure as a natural part of the learning process, you’ll be better equipped to bounce back from setbacks and keep moving forward.

  1. Surround Yourself with Positive Influences

Another important way to cultivate persistence and self-confidence is to surround yourself with positive influences. This means seeking out mentors, coaches, and other successful entrepreneurs who can offer guidance and support. It also means surrounding yourself with positive, supportive people who believe in your vision and can help you stay motivated and focused.

  1. Take Care of Yourself

In today’s digital age, having an e-commerce website is no longer a luxury for high street shops, it’s a necessity. With the rise of online shopping, customers expect to be able to purchase products from the comfort of their own homes. In 2023, a high street shop that doesn’t have an e-commerce website is missing out on a huge opportunity to reach a wider audience and increase sales. Here are some reasons why a high street shop needs an e-commerce website in 2023.

  1. Increased Reach An e-commerce website allows a high street shop to reach customers beyond their local area. With an online presence, a shop can sell products to customers anywhere in the world, increasing their reach and potential customer base.
  2. Convenience for Customers Online shopping has become increasingly popular because of the convenience it offers customers. They can shop from the comfort of their own homes, at any time, without the hassle of going to a physical store. By having an e-commerce website, a high street shop can offer this convenience to its customers and stand out from its competitors.
  3. Increased Sales By having an e-commerce website, a high street shop can increase its sales by reaching a wider audience. Online shopping has become a 24/7 business, and an e-commerce website allows a shop to take advantage of this, selling products even when the physical store is closed.
  4. Increased Competition In 2023, having an e-commerce website is no longer just a way to increase sales, it’s also a way to stay competitive. Many high street shops now have an online presence, and those that don’t risk losing customers to their competitors.
  5. Data Collection and Analysis An e-commerce website also allows a high street shop to collect data on its customers and analyze it to better understand their needs and preferences. This information can be used to improve the customer experience and increase sales.

In conclusion, a high street shop needs an e-commerce website in 2023 to reach a wider audience, offer convenience to customers, increase sales, stay competitive, and collect and analyze data. By not having an e-commerce website, a high street shop risks missing out on significant opportunities in the digital age.

UDID (Unique Device Identifier) is a 40-character string that is used to identify an iPhone or iPad. It is often required when developers want to test their apps on a specific device or when you need to register your device with Apple. Here’s how to find your UDID without a Mac or PC.

  1. Use iTunes
You can find your UDID using iTunes, but you’ll need a Mac or PC to do it. Connect your iPhone or iPad to the computer, open iTunes, click on the “Summary” tab, and then click on the “Serial Number” field. The UDID will be revealed when you click on the “Serial Number.”
  2. Use Third-Party Websites
There are many websites that allow you to find your UDID online. Just type “UDID finder” in Google and you’ll find many websites that can help you. We love https://get.udid.io/. More about how to use it here. You simply have to connect your iPhone or iPad to the website and it will display your UDID.
  3. Use iTunes on Another iOS Device
If you have another iOS device such as an iPad or an iPod Touch, you can use iTunes to find the UDID of your iPhone or iPad. Connect your device to the other iOS device, open iTunes, click on the “Summary” tab, and then click on the “Serial Number” field. The UDID will be revealed when you click on the “Serial Number.”
  4. Use the Settings App
You can also find your UDID using the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. Go to “General” > “About” and then scroll down to “Serial Number.” Tap on the “Serial Number” field and it will reveal the UDID.

In conclusion, finding the UDID of your iPhone or iPad is a simple process, and you can do it without a Mac or PC. Whether you use iTunes, a third-party website, another iOS device, or the Settings app, you can easily find your UDID in no time.

We have partnered with RapidAPI to launch our new API, which will allow people to gain access to the data that runs some of our successful web services.

We are launching the Gambles.me API along with 14 endpoints. Gambles.me is a horse racing website that aggregates data in order to predict winners and give people a clearer picture of what to bet on. Our APIs will give you access to today’s races and historical form data for each horse, jockey and trainer. We have also included our Toolbox and our Gambles.Me Rating (GMR).

You can begin using Gambles.me API free of charge – and we also have paid packages for those wanting to get serious!

Keep watching because we will be expanding upon our API in 2023, with more data covering different niches. Our aim is to empower you to build your own websites and apps that are feature rich and powered by our data.

I’ve released a plugin that enables online booksellers, bloggers, content creators etc to easily add peek-inside functionality to their website akin to Amazon’s Look-inside feature.

It uses Jellybooks who have a really simple API – so this plugin didn’t take much time to make – in fact I’m going to create a series of £5 plugins which I can quickly output, that add value to the end user.

This plugin’s aim is to simplify the process of linking your book cover to Jellybooks. If you’d like to know the technical part of what is does – read on.

The plugin will add the a CSS class to your book cover which will trigger the peek-inside modal window when clicked. The clever part is – the plugin works out what images on your page should have that CSS class by determining if it is a book. It basically does that by searching for an ISBN in the images meta data or HTML attributes.

So, in practice if you have named your books by ISBN, have given your books ALT / TITLE attributes, containing an ISBN – this plugin should work ‘out of the box’. If you have not done that, I have created an ISBN option which can be configure in the Media Basket.

Here is an example (all I’ve done is just clicked Add Media within this post and placed an image):

The plugin has automatically (behind the scenes) fetched the Excerpts for this book and applied the Peek-inside label over the top of the image. It’s then made it clickable!

You can find out more here.

For years we’ve been delivering bespoke WordPress Themes, custom designed and hand-coded by us, from the ground-up. Separately for each and every client.

We’ve been working towards streamlining our processes, to speed up development time, but at the same time maintain the same bespoke web design service you came to us for.

Our new way of building websites will keep your website up-to-date with bug fixes, security releases, plus new features and functionality!

We have developed a WordPress Plugin called Theme Helper to provide functionality for every one of our WordPress Themes, going forward. Our themes are now stripped back and lightweight – providing only the markup and styles to display your responsive website.

Your theme loads its ‘add-ons’ from the Theme Helper plugin that came bundled with your website upon purchase.

The pool of add-ons is routinely replenished with new functionality when new components are developed by us.

So, your site will just get better and better.

Alongside the creation of Theme Helper, we have also developed our own Plugin Update Server. This allows us to deploy our plugins directly from 1J2 and not via WordPress.org. Ensuring a quick and exclusive delivery to your website.

This new way of developing WordPress Themes means we are not reinventing the wheel each time we make a new website. It will allow us to turnaround websites faster and give greater value back to you.

We have just deployed our very first website using Theme Helper and we are working on the next.

If you would like a custom designed website for your business, and think you’ll enjoy all of the unique benefits spoken about above, please do get in touch!

The importance of good photography is often overlooked. A professional photographer can transform a visitor’s perception of your business. People connect the quality of your photography with the quality of your work.

I believe a photographer is able to capture a more authentic version of myself. I recently used Ross Dean to take these photos, he had me laughing, at ease and relaxed. More often than not, in this business, people buy from people, so it’s important to me that I’m shown in the most genuine way possible.

When a web designer has access to an array of good photos, they are quickly able to design a far superior website, which connects a visitor to your true brand. Settling for stock-art makes you another clone and doesn’t differentiate your brand from the competition.

Good visual content is 40% more likely to get shared as well, thus boosting your brand awareness.

The hero image has been a popular trend in web design for a while now. It serves as the user’s first glimpse of your company because it fills the entire width (and sometimes height) of the screen.

It becomes a challenge to make every photo work in responsive design. As arty as ‘background-size:cover’ looks – often the client doesn’t want their head chopped off or their boobs to be zoomed in on.

This gets to me to point of the value in providing different photos in a variety of compositions. It’s possible with jQuery to switch out a background image when the screen size changes. This limits there being legibility issues with text and important parts of photos being obscured.

There is also a lot of value in a photographer providing uncropped photos. Often for hero images, web designers need a much wider shot for them to work in responsive design.

Apologies for using my ugly mug to illustrate this point but Ross Dean did a great job providing many headshots for us to use in our latest redesign, ensuring the same style shot works on desktop and mobile.

Seems simple, right?

One of the major reasons why people leave a website is they don’t see what they are expecting. This is referred to as a high bounce rate. On the contrary, a high bounce rate can also be contributed to when a visitor finds what they want very quickly – but that wasn’t the case here.

In the first few seconds of viewing a website, you need to tell the visitor what you do. The average visitor only stays for 15 seconds, so you haven’t got long.

Christines is a cafe in Woodbridge, they sell cakes, teas, breakfasts and lunches – and they also have a beautiful outside garden.

Our goal is always to deliver this message in the simplest way while making the site accessible on all devices with obvious navigation cues. Christines already had a strong brand. The branding is carried throughout everything, even each room in the cafe is beautifully branded, right down to matching colour chairs. So, it’s important that the website is consistent – the website must ooze brand and deliver the same experience as sitting at a table in the cafe does.

The website needed to centre around the most important information a visitor would be looking for. So for a cafe, I think you’ll agree, what’s on the menu and how do I find you. So, you’ll see big buttons linking to those areas of the website and easy accessibility from the menu.

We developed a bespoke WordPress theme for the client. They’ll be able to grow the website while ensuring the site remains consistent in its look, continuing to deliver all of the key points above.

A nice little website and their cakes are so good too!
My kids love the unicorn biscuits.

I can’t quite believe 1J2 is 17 years old! I get very nostalgic thinking about everything that has happened in those 17 years. From a 20 year old entrepreneur, scouring the Internet for deleted domains, so he could put a name to his collection of online businesses – to now, a digital agency, building websites for multi-million-pound companies. I love what it’s become and I’m happy that I still have the passion to do what we do.

I want to continue to build 1J2 into a company that delivers the best. We are small, yes – but we have the skills to put you on the radar of your biggest competitors.

It goes back to the mindset of that 20-year-old. If they can do it, I can do it. It takes a whole lot of work and dedication but we are committed, for you.

You have a builder, for a friend. His driveway is hardcore, his walls are breeze blocks, still waiting to be rendered. He started an extension but hasn’t finished it yet. He’s too busy doing other people’s houses. The same thing happens in this industry. No time to work on your own house.

Craig and I started the new design for this website many months ago but then a stream of new website builds came in and we’ve been super busy. It wasn’t until I had a week off recently (which just turned into a week of meetings) that I set myself a goal – to get the site done. We still didn’t have the time, so we both invested some evenings and got it done.

It feels great. We now have a place to show the world everything we do.

What’s with all the eggs?

Three years ago I wanted to redesign the jumping figure into something more unique. I had this idea (while in the bath, of course) that the head, arms and legs of the figure, grew up out of an egg. Symbolising the birth of your brand and/or your online business.

I have everything to owe to Craig, he always brings what’s in my head to life. And then he went a step further and animated the logo and blew my mind!

I’d been toying with the idea of dropping the ‘JUMP’ from 1 JUMP 2 and just running with 1J2. Leaving the jump to history. Allowing the logo to do the talking, whilst capturing the essence and meaning of the brand within itself.

So, we have.

We are now known as 1J2.

The new site brings a lot of changes. There are more colours and vibrancy. Not just three shades of purple, but now an array of colours that help showcase the diverse amount of services we offer.

Labs is a fun one. I like to make cool things in my free time, build apps, plugins etc. I now have a place to show them off! In time I will add to the Lab with free to download applications.

This blog! I  spent today coding it up. I think it looks quite fresh. I’ll be blogging here before I post anything to social media.

Conversion rate optimisation has always been at our very core, which we intrinsically developed into your website. However, it’s now an extra service with a huge added value. We have teamed up with Kelby at Useability to offer usability testing from their studio in Malta – with the option to fly out and be there while your site and our work is being tested.

We have a shop! It’s small right now, but I’ll be adding different type of products here in the future, starting with embroidered workwear.

Other little bits. We now have a system status page, which will inform you of system outages and upcoming maintenance work to web servers and mail servers. Our hosting control panels have had a brand refresh as well.

Lastly – we have a team page! This year we welcomed Katie to our team. Katie manages everything and has been a much-loved addition, not just by me, but by our clients as well.

Please let us know what you think of the site and if there’s anything we need to add to help serve you better.

Adam 😀

This is one branding job I was very keen to get stuck into.

I’ll let you into a secret, every night I spend hours watching van conversion videos. I’m interested in converting a van, like a Mercedes Sprinter, into a getaway home and office. I want to pitch up down The Fludyers (to the annoyance of the one anonymous beach-hut owner), open my door, put the kettle on and work away while listening to waves lapping the beach.

RM Group came to us to create a strong and professional brand for their new business, Panel Van 2 Camper Van. They had one requirement – there should be a non-camper van next to a fully converted van.

We delivered four separate design concepts. The chosen design went through some amendments, including deciding on a colour palette and adding some finishing touches to the converted van (such as a splitter and alloys).

Part of a branding package includes stationery design. RM Group opted for a letterhead design and business card design. We delivered three separate options, all very strong, each with a letterhead and business design. The client then had their chosen design printed on 400gsm double sided business cards and was provided with print-ready PDFs.

We don’t usually create such detailed artwork for a logo, which is why we spent a good amount of effort creating a strong logotype, which can work (and be remembered) with and without the vans. We wanted a clear separation between the words ‘panel van’ and ‘camper van’ and to inject the brand colours in there too.

Getting started…
